File 2A. Grammar: Plurals + Present Simple (3rd Person -s)




EXERCISES:


a. Write the correct form of the present simple for 'he/she/it'. Then, write full sentences

Example:
read --> reads --> He reads newspapers and magazines.

watch - go - carry - have - do - organize - finish - wash - dry


watches - goes - carries - has - does - organizes - finishes - washes - dries

b. The plurals below are spelt incorrectly. Read them and then write the correct plurals:

pictureies - watchs - bookes - knifes - mans - diarys - addressies - persons - scarfs - citys - childs - classies


pictures - watches - books - knives - men - diaries - addresses - people - scarves - cities - children - classes


c. Look at your verb sentences from Exercise a) again. Now try and make the sentences longer using ten of the words from Exercise b). You can change the sentences if you want.
